The Southern African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption (SAPNAC) is a regional platform of current and former parliamentarians from the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Our mission is to strengthen legislative action against corruption and foster a culture of accountability in public institutions. Formed as an affiliate of the African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption (APNAC), SAPNAC serves as a coordination hub for lawmakers determined to promote transparency, integrity, and citizen trust in government.
We exist to support, connect, and empower parliamentarians across Southern Africa in their efforts to detect, prevent, and address corruption. By working together, we aim to influence policy, strengthen accountability systems, and champion reforms that place integrity at the heart of governance.
We envision a region where transparency is embedded in institutions, citizens trust their leaders, and democracy thrives because of responsible leadership and effective parliamentary oversight.
Whether you’re a legislator, policy advocate, civil society group, or citizen passionate about transparency—SAPNAC invites you to partner with us. Together, we can build a more accountable Southern Africa.
